| We were there from the start For the first european Formula One race in the new 3-litre formula Scuderia Into The Red entered Claus Larsen in his Alfa Romeo Sprint. New kid on the block, Jochen Rindt from Austria, ran the new V12 Cooper-Maserati with usual spunk, but was unable to shake Larsen. The ITR car had most of the field lapped by half-race, but suffered severe suspension damage when it ran into a kerb on the Casino square. Another race lost. But then again - almost won as well ... |
