12. april 2003 The first event with ITR participation. ARKD Club Sport is not heat racing. The drivers are invited to test the capabilities of their cars and their own driver's skills. According to track length a number of cars are allowed to the track and the laps are timed. Gert Sterner retired after practice with engine troble. It was feared that the engine had bent some valves - a very expensive repair for a 16-valve boxer engine with four overhead camshafts! Luckily it was only an ignition problem.
