| Classic Car Meeting
21-22 august 2004 HMS (Historisk Motor Sport) invited everybody with an interest in Classic Cars to attend the newly re-landscaped Ring Djursland for a weekend of motor racing. Many different classes ran heats, and among them ITR-member Claus Larsen raced his Orange Alfa Romeo Sprint in the CR2 ClubRace series. Spectators were even allowed for a short run on the track in their road cars as well. The following classes were run: a) TC and GTC before 1965 b) TC and GTC 1966-1971, 0-1300cc c) TC and GTC 1966-1971, over 1300cc. d) TC and GTC 1972- 1976, Owner's Clubs championships e) Club-Race, classes CR1 og CR2, Owner's Clubs championships f) Sports Cup, Owner's Clubs championships g) Open Wheelers, Formula cars h) Nordic Trophy for pre-war cars ITR participants: Claus Larsen - Alfa Romeo Alfsud Sprint 1.7 Best lap time - 1:07.510 (practice) - 1:06.744 (race) Fastest lap of the day - 0:50.517 - Swift FF Formel 2000 |
