GT Legends finds rest after tough race in France
Only ITR-man left for the finishing race of the Independant Danish GTL League was Michael Ryhl. After racing twice in USA at Laguna Seca (CA) and Watkins Glen (NY) with good placings, the French finals at Dijon-prenois were looked forward to with high hopes for the famous team. Ryhl scored a P6 and a P8 in the two american races, and Anton Norup scored a P9 in California.

The French flag fell over a grid with the ITR-entered Lotus Elan of Michael Ryhl at Q10. 'I wasn't satisfied at all', said the ITR driver, 'but I managed to climb to P7 until an orange Corvette shunted me off, and left me far back in the wake of the 12-car field'.
Michael Ryhl came home at P10. 'A very impressive result', said the team manager afterwards. 'Mind you, scoring 71 points meant an overall placing at #6 ... among very tough competition ... ITR is rising to previous strength.
Anton Norup ended up #12 in the championship with 57 points while Per Einarsson was #23 at 10 points. |
