Three cars at sunny Sturup Raceway for swedish trackday

When the Swedish Alfa Romeo Owner's Club announced a two-day meeting in the south of the country including trackdays at both Ring Knutstorp and Sturup Raceway, Scuderia ITR obviously used the opportinuty to enter a few cars.

Gert Sterner (Alfa 145Q) and Anton Norup (Fiat Punto S) were listed in the experienced-class at Sturup and met with Team Manager Per Einarsson in Malmö. The plan was to try to use some italian persuation to get the Capo's Alfe Bertone GT onto the entry list on one of the venues.

It turned out to be a wonderful day in the sun (with a little rain at noon) and all three drivers were very satisfied with the equipment.

However ... Anton Norup was somewhat disappointed only to score a point-five second improvement over last time out at Sturup. Especially with the new firm Novitec suspension.

Sterner and Einarsson both experienced oil-leaks ... nothing serious, but enough to make them crawl around on the tarmac in their overalls, with frowned faces.

But the cars were used as intended - wonderful time!
